CLOTHING: Let your inner frontman shine with jumpsuits, flamboyant clothing and eyeliner. Don’t forget the big hair, wigs and vest tops. You’ve got to make an impression, darling!
FILM: Bohemian Rhapsody (12A)
Far more than outdoor cinema, the full experience includes dressing up, camping over and letting your hair down with fun, games entertainment and more before settling down to a screening of the epic biopic Bohemian Rhapsody (12A). Don’t be shy, belting out those queen songs at the top of your lungs is allowed, and throw in a good proportion of dancing too.
FOOD & DRINK: Creeping Kate’s Cafe will be open all day and there will be a BBQ on the evening on site plus the Tower Bar will be open for business. The cafe will be serving breakfast in the morning too.
Muncaster Castle is officially haunted. Really, it is. The castle and grounds are also stunning and the view of the Lake District from the castle is jaw dropping.
ARRIVAL TIME: All ticket prices include free entry to Muncaster Castle gardens on the day of the film, so you can arrive from 10.30am onwards. You can set up your tents from 5.30pm onwards. Non-campers can enter cinema site from 7.00pm. Film starts at dusk (approx 9.30pm)
GLAMP IT UP: Belle Hotel will be offering their more luxurious version of camping for those of you who like more comfort. 4m Bell Tents will be pitched and ready for you on the cinema site. They sleep up to 4 and come in a range of different furnishing levels from 2 double beds, bedding, rugs, cushions and lanterns to just bare if you’d rather bring your own gear.
