Arrival Time: Campers entry from 3pm, Non campers entry from 17.30pm, entertainment starts from 6.00pm and film starts at dusk (approx 7.30pm)
As part of Festival of Thrift at Kirkleatham, join us for an evening of dancing, fun & games and a screening of Moulin Rouge.
The evening features a screening of Baz Luhrmann’s frenetic love story Moulin Rouge plus Balkan beats, Middle Eastern grooves and electro swing on the sound system. For those who really want to make the most of the night you can camp overnight in the grounds of Kirkleatham and enjoy two days of the Festival.
The Festival of Thrift is a big weekend of activities designed for all the family on 22nd & 23rd September. Showing you how to save money, be environmentally savvy and live a rich and creative life. Leading and emerging artists, demonstrations, stalls, talks & workshops offering thrifty advice, tips and tricks as well as innovative tasty food and drink.
The Festival of Thrift is a free daytime event on 22 & 23 of September. Picnic Cinema’s screening of MOULIN ROUGE (12A) is a separate ticketed event on the festival site after the free daytime event has closed on Saturday 22. More information about the festival can be found here
