The unbelievably true story of one man, one movement, the music and madness that was Manchester.
FOOD & DRINK: Bring your own – Bar on site.
Captain Picnic is throwing his (almost) end of season bash at our old haunt Kirklinton Hall. Once frequented by the likes of the Kray Twins, Kirklinton has had many guises; an impressive country house; an RAF base; a school; a hotel; a casino; gangsters’ gambling den and a nightclub. Taking inspiration from Tony Wilson and his Hacienda dreams, we are installing disco lights, smoke machines for our Hacienda House Party.
24h Party People follows Factory Records Tony Wilson (Steve Coogan) and the bubbling music scene through the 80’s in Manchester transformed by New Order, Happy Mondays and The Hacienda night club.
